System Requirements

Specifying "exact" system requirements is not an easy task, as the exact environment,
in terms of how the system will be used, and by how many users, varies from
company to company. Generally, as a rule of thumb, using OneSource in a Standard
"Client/Server" environment requires faster PC hardware and less robust
file server hardware. On the other hand, in most cases, OneSource recommends
a Thin Client Solution (outlined at the bottom of this page) which generally
requires less PC hardware speed but significantly faster File Server hardware).

of this writing, depending on the size of the drive and/or vendor/mfr
an SSD can range from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars).
NOTE:
Since this configuration involves having all users having a 'desktop'
on the server, it is highly recommended that the Operating System (O/S)
partition be made considerably larger than normal, or possibly only
have 1 large partition, rather than 2 or more. This will allow plenty
of room for the O/S to breathe when users place large finals on their
desktops that will also be sharing the same partition as the O/S.
