Creating New Customers

To create a customer, you may choose from any of the following methods:

 

Method 1:

  1. From the Contacts menu, select Add New Customer/Prospect.

Method 2:

  1. Press CTRL + F3 key combination.

Method 3:

  1. With a Quote, Sales Order, Invoice, or Credit Memo open, enter the new company name in the Bill To customer address or Ship To customer address field.  OneSource will then tell you that the customer you entered cannot be found in the database, and ask you if you would like to add the new customer.  Click Yes when prompted to add a new Customer.

Method 4:

  1. While in the Customers & Prospects form, click the New button.

Method 5:

  1. While in the Summary of Customers & Prospects form, click the New button.
