How do I link OneSource to the sample XYZ Music Company Data file?

By default, when OneSource is installed from the OneSource Application CD, it is linked to the XYZMusicData.mdb file.

 

If you (or your system administrator) have linked your copy of OneSource to another data file, such as your own company's data file, you can relink to the XYZ Music Company data file by following these steps:

 

  1. Open OneSource to the initial log in screen.

  2. Click on File menu.

  3. Select Link toCompany Data File(*.mdb or *.mde).  This will open up the Company Data File Attachment Wizard.

  4. Click on the Browse... button.

  5. Click on the drop down arrow in the Look In list box near the top of the pop-up form.

  6. Navigate to the C:\Program Files\OneSource\Data directory.

  7. Select XYZMusicData.mdb (or, if available, XYZMusicData_Sample Data.mdb)

  8. Click Open.  (This will insert the path of the XYZ Music Company data file).

  9. Click OK to begin the wizard.

  10. At the user login, type: Demo in the Login ID field and User in the Password field.
