3 Vital Steps (for Every OneSource User)
Learning a new software program can be a very intimadating task. To simplify
and speed up the process of learning OneSource software, we recommend performing
the following steps:
STEP 1: View Training Materials
- Get a huge jump start in learning the big picture of how to add, edit, print,
and find records in OneSource by reading OneSource QuickStart Guide.
- Click on the Help button on most OneSource
screens. This will take you to our new (and growing) FAQ
system, where you can search by Topic or Keyword.
- Talk to your onsite OneSource administrator about scheduling you for one
or more live, OneSource Online Training Courses
- View applicable topics in the OneSource Virtual Training CD.
STEP 2: Practice. (There's No Substitute...)
Hands on practice offers the following benefits:
- Increased retention of the knowledge that you have learned from watching and reading training materials
- Practice at your own pace, rather than in front of a customer
- Increased confidence that you can perform your duties in OneSource prior to going live
- Understanding of what parts of the system you still do not understand
STEP 3: Ask For Additional Help
After you have performed steps 1-2 above, you may still need additional help.
OneSource is here to help you. In most cases, in order to streamline and
reduce the cost of training all of your personnel, OneSource provides direct
one on one support to one local company designated OneSource administrator
(called an OSAdmin). When necessary, please contact your OSAdmin. If he or
she needs additional help as well, they can place a call to OneSource, or
submit a support request, to help find the answer to your question.
